Just so happens that our survey shows the neighbours new deck is actually on the property line. City code is that it has to be set back 1 foot from the property line. I'm guessing that the inspector that is coming next week to investigate will make them comply!
We will definetly be having one hell of a party the day that they have to chop 1 foot off that beautiful deck that they didn't get a permit to build.
The other good thing is that this may put them over the edge and hopefully they will either sell, or put a fence up ... hope they talk to the city building department before doing that!
