Fertilization report

I talked to the lab this morning for our fertilization report.

We had 9 eggs retrieved, 7 had ICSI (sperm injection) completed and 2 natural IVF completed.

Of the 7 ICSI, 4 have fertilitzed. Of the 2 natural IVF, 1 has fertilized.

I am thrilled to hear that one of the natural IVF has fertilized as this means that natural conception is entirely possible. Although we would have loved to have had all of them fertilize, I as so happy that we have 5 to work with.

We will receive an update on Friday (day 3) as to how many continue to develop.

Our transfer is scheduled for Sunday at 9:30 am.
